Alchemist Minions - Detailed Information

So people have been asking about how Golems improve per Rank so I decided to do a compilation of alchemist summons and their stats per Rank.
All information here can be found at http://torchlightarmory.com/ I'll just compile them for easy reference :)

    just want to clarify, does that means that their armor and res rely on our armor and res?

    Nope. Those are the base numbers, which are modified by a table where X is your level (and thus your minions level) and Y is the percentage of the base. The table used is identical to the level progression table used by regular monsters on Normal difficulty. So far as I can tell, they stay about 1/3 the modifier of regular monsters on VH. Your armor and stats have no bearing on their strength, unless you are using uniques with specific pet/minion modifiers.

    Unless of course I'm wrong - I'm new to TorchED and still finding my way around :). That's what it looks like though.

    u're partially right. but its a graph rather than a table and the minions have their own graph and dont depend on normal difficulty monsters' graph. the value in this graph at each level is the base and the percentage modifiers given above are Y.

    EDIT: btw there is a problem with the beam golem. uniques with pet damage increase dont effect it. this is bcoz its damage is electrical and uniques increase only physical damage. same goes for summoned zombies(a part of their damage is poison). burning bind affects everything as it works differently.

    Pets/minions do use a different graph than normal monsters, but if you open up both the pet/minion graph and the normal monster graph in TorchED, you will see that they are identical. It's the same graph copy/pasted.

    Did not know that about the reason unique equipment buffs do not help Beam Golem. Presumably, this means they also would not help elemental pets.. interesting :).

    Hmm...Need to give some thought to this interms of my Best Fish To Keep A Lot Of list. At first blush, it explains a lot about why Gels and Burrowers don't seem to be as potent at higher levels as it seems like they should be. On fast reflection, I think that it may make Goblinhound or Mimic the pet trans-form of choice for high level play. The enhanced attack power on Varks would be nice, but they have no staying power.

    only the damage graphs are fully identical. health and armor graphs are not. health graph especially is very very different.

    i was surprised at first that beam golem bug was never mentioned. but then no one looks at the combatlog in console without which its almost impossible to know. and its not the only one. heres another...ember sentry 1 = ember sentry 10. waste of the other 9 points. but this can be easily corrected with a very simple mod.
