Cursor problem on Linux (Ubuntu)

Hi everyone!
I downloaded Torchlight yesterday but I have a problem when I launch it.
I see my cursor, I can move it but it can't interact with the game (It didn't do anything when I select 'new game' or 'setting').
My graphics board is a Geforce Nvidia.
If you have a solution please tell me :).

Hello, I have the same problem.
Another detail is that the cursor (looks like a hand) is within a black square (as big as the cursor).

My workstation runs (64bit) gentoo w/ KDE and has a radeon card using x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati.
The problem does not happen in a KVM-VM (debian w/ gnome) and not on my laptop (gentoo w/ LXDE).
Un- and reinstalling did not help.

How can I fix this? Any hint on how to debug this would be appreciated as well. If it helps I can provide a strace output...

Maybe I should mention that neither my laptop nor the virtual machines are fast enough to play the game.

Download this files and place them on your install directory, mine i.e is /usr/local/games/Torchlight and place them in lib64 directory with this is fixed (y)
