The skelly up front looks so cuuute. o.o;;

Sadly, no shots of any of my Vanquishers yet.. I haven't played anything but VHHC and I always lose them around the time I start to tell myself "Okay, let's finish this floor then get back to town.." Very depressing. -.-

Other great thoughts I've had before I lose my Vanqs:

"Huh? What's a phase portal?"
I didn't last long here.. arrived under attack. =/
"Oh, I'm doing great, I can handle this phase portal.."
    I didn't last long here, either. You'd think I'd learn, but they're shiny. ^^
"Alright, my potion stock is decent, Brink shouldn't be too tough this time.."
One shot, one kill. Initiate 'Head to Keyboard' exercise.

Yeh... I am melee, and rockin it too.

I am using 3 Mods.
1.) Whitecloak Vanquisher (Theo89) (If you ever read this, make more awesome skinz plox!)
2.) Respec Mod (Runic)
3.) Starch v2 (Prestige)

For anyone who cares, here are the skills that I actually use:
Wind Of Justice - To push enemies away and stun them.
Venomous Dirks - Good to use while enemies are away from you to pick off the little guys.
Hamstring - Good debuff and dot. Speed is fun.
(1pt) Devouring Trap - Debuff.
(1pt) Fletcher Trap - Just for fun and help to pick off the little guys.
And finally... Good ol'Melee white damage to pwn those bosses and champions. (and to leech HP of course)

Passives:
Critical, Block/Parry, Armor Mastery, Dual Wield, Martial Weapon. (Also working on Treasure Hunter)

With good Atk Speed + Life Leech, it is really easy to kill bosses. Just be sure to put a bunch of points in Defense. As I leveled I put 3pt in Strength and 2pt in Defense per level.

Rogues are as people say "Tough" to play, especially in the beginning. However if you play it right and get good items they are the most satisfying class to play. At least for me.
Hope this helps some people who were thinking of making a rogue. :D

Kraglord.. nice pic! That skin looks awesome. Thanks for the info. I currently have a lvl 23 melee Vanq. and I've been wondering about Venomous Dirks, Devouring, and Fletcher skills. So do you not use Stab at all? I've found that stab has a bit of AOE to it and it has a 50% chance to stun enemies, even mini-bosses.

Curious what you have socketed your weapons with. I put +2 crit strike & skulls in mine right now.

Btw you're right, this class build is very fun to play, especially if you get some "fastest attack" weapons.

Thanks Vali.

The Stab skill a waste of points to me. It does AOE damage, but not as much as Venom Dirks. It stuns mobs but it has less stun radius and less percentage of stun than Wind of Justice.

When I am about to go bonkers on a mob of goblins or whatever, the first thing I do is throw 1 Devouring ahead and then charge in with Hamstring. Once I'm in the middle I blow them away from me with Wind and then throw some Dirks at them once or twice. By this time they are all dead except some bigger guys and champions. Then I just finish them off by rotating regular attacks and hamstring.

As far as gems go, I recently downloaded Gales Gem Overhaul because I felt that the gems in the game were little to no help. This mod changes gems so I would actually like to use them and even save them with the orc destroyer guy, but still does not make me too overpowered.

rogue Vanquishers are awesome, I'm only just level 17 (can't wait for 20!) on VHHC and it's.. hard, gotta be sooo careful (been super close more than a handful times). Either way, I am doing about the same as you, just I use Wind of Justice and white melee atm. I'm using a shield for most part atm to prevent getting instagibbed but might switch to dual wield later on when I get some more -% damage equipment. I do recomment this though, it's a lot of fun (also tried melee alchemist which was ok, but for me not as fun as rogue vanq so far and I only imagine it gets better) ;)

edit: btw, you got WoJ maxed? I probably will later, depends really on how good the stun part is, is it needed and so on?
edit2: I'll add a pic when I feel I'm ready for it (I'm shy!) ;D

Is that a default armor or a modified skin/model?

Sorry for the very late reply. been having fun with my alchemist. :)

My Vanq is wearing the default items (though a bit enchanted than usual) found in the game.

Glove: Royba's Gloves ; Chest Armor: Lovecraftian Coat ; Helmet: Lovecraftian Hat ; Shoulder Armor: Bone Mantle ; Belt: Gunslinger Balteus ; Boots: Bone Greaves

I was shift selling selling selling holding the shift key and accidently sold this unique armor I found and ... that I wanted. 22,000 gold to buy it back, didn't have half that. OOOoops. My poor Vanquisher has to deal with me making clumsy mistakes; Poor girl.

I'm guessing the EXP bar has to fill one more time like the Fame bar does, but my stats at Lv100. For anyone wondering, yes I do like pink. :?

Stats that aren't visible at the moment are 41% Critical chance (30k or so when it hits), 34% block, and 20% damage reduced from an Epic Oonor's Band I gambled today...which went well with the Epic Pundee's Band that dropped a couple hours earlier. :D Well, with levels out of the way all there is to do now is enchant stuff and see how far in the Shadow Vault I can get, currently Level 27 or so working my way down. (I know the shield could be darker to match the rest better, but for some reason I can't get the shade I want in my image editing software.)

This is Taarna, my melee Vanquisher in her 'Rogue' armour. It's recoloured chain armour with a few details added in. The hair's still pink under there!

Not too far along...only level 10 VHHC. Melee's been rough going, but I'll get the hang of it soon...or die trying!

Edit: Meh, died trying. Hit level 18 before croaking, though. Best effort to date.

Hey quick question, did you feed your pet a big fish or you use a mod for the eletric elemntal pet?

Tisiphone, my melee Vanquisher who just completed the story part. I ended up with Flechette Trap+Hamstring for mobs, normal attack for things that are still standing, and Blood Skeletons to get in the way. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the next 50 levels, but there are a lot of fun skills I haven't invested in yet. 3 DEF/2 STR per level, "standard" melee equipment (+critical chance, +% critical damage, defense, blocking, resists, etc), and a whole lot of fun. Perhaps not the best setup but I enjoy it well enough. Dual wielding melee Vanquishers are so much more fun than Destroyers though, dunno why.
