Gambling pays off! Behold, the Thunder Dragonne!

So, I was playing with my level 11 Marskman Vanquisher, using a standard run-of-the-mill crossbow. It had absolutely no magical properties to it, but I was using it because the DPS was something like 120 - not bad for a level 11 character. I eventually got tired of it, and decided to gamble for a new weapon. Gunpowder is definitely more my style, so I picked out a rifle that cost a little less than 3000 gold. For such a bargain price, I wasn't expecting much. When I moused over the weapon stats, I literally said "whoa!" out loud.

I do have my Ranged Weapon Mastery maxed out, and I'm not sure if the above DPS is the base DPS or if it's adjusted to reflect the bonus from the skill, but regardless, it's still absolutely insane for a low level weapon.

To top it off, the blue electricity really complements my character's all-blue outfit. She looks wonderful against a blue backdrop.

I haven't tried playing with it yet, and I'm going to bed now, but I'll definitely have tons of fun with this lovely thing in the morning!

Not really sure how much that cost you, like how many times you gambled. However with less than ~60k gold (spent nearly all the gold I made on enchanting it each time I came back to town) I made the following.

Basically level 13 req.

However this is a retired weapon, none of my chars use it.

I gambled once, and enchanted the item zero times. It cost me about 2900 gold.

thats a nice little gun you got there, You'd have to put some lightning damage gems in it though for its effects to shine :P
