I like the skin toning. Would you have to raise the texture resolution to make the rune symbols on the shackles more clearer?

Great textures, dude! :-) I even started a new game because of this! ^^
Do you also raise the textures for the characters (alchemist, destroyer..etc)?

Hey, thanks guys.

I didn't touch the character textures or the armor textures... not sure I will either. With all the class mods out there I don't want to make this conflict with any of them... I hafta see though maybe it won't interfere at all the way its all setup. As far as how many art files I've edited? I guessing maybe 500ish? not sure

Small update, I fixed the ruins floor texture and I started messing around tonight with other boss skins and the dragonkin and champion textures here's a few screengrabs

Are you using the same method for the mob textures that you used for the enviroment textures?
The skin tone looks more vibrant and has more depth to it. I think i might need to make some monster screenshots to compare the difference.
Most of the enviroment textures have distinctive patterns where i can see the changes right away.
Please continue to contribute more of your skills for us all. I definetly want you to. Great stuff.

I guess I'm using the same basic principles for the monster textures so far. Some environment textures are outright changed but a bunch are also enhanced with other textures I have in my library and ones that I have made for other projects. so ya, I'm going about them in generally the same way. And my bad I should have put a side by side in but I didn't get a chance.

Your work is a real eye candy. So dark and detailed...Epic media player music choise, your texture mod, a high level Destroyer and fun is guaranteed.

On one side I am really happy to have discovered this online community cz I have never seen more dedicated modders gathered together since the Dark Brotherhood modding community of Oblivion. On the other hand I am sad that I can not contribute as well once the only programming knowledge I have is enough to create a pong game or even a "how lucky are you today?" application in GW basic  .

The boss textures look awesome, just like everything else does. If you do all of the monster textures we will all love you forever! lol.

well, maybe you could release a high resolution texture pack for characters separately? for those who want a overall torchlight texturemod without any other class installed? wouldn't it be more "harmonic" in combination with your texturepack? :)
oh, and whats that diablo gui you have installed? its slightly different from that I knew from frysee. (YetAnother Diablo 3 Hud 1.01)

Thanks :D after work, I'll be working hard on this to finish up the monster textures. I'm having so much fun working on this stuff, but I am definitely looking forward to relaxing a bit and starting a new class and playing through again with all these great mods everyone is releasing.

I have thought about doing the armor and character textures, maybe I'll create sort of a "use at your own risk, will probably conflict with character mods" type of download and will keep it as a separate download from the main textures.

As for the HUD I just slighty recolored the Diablo 3 hud and messed around with the opacity on the option buttons above the experience bar. As for the pet interface I downloaded this viewtopic.php?f=20&t=8710 and only used the pet interface part and again screwed around with the opacity.

I've been quiet, but I'd just like to add that I am enjoying the new look and feel.

It does, however, make my pasty-white demonologist appear to glow. :)

I tried to keep a bulk of the texture sizes equal to normal ones. Only some of the floor textures are double size and a few boss monsters. So performance shouldn't take much of a hit. I'm running a crappy 9500gs and it runs flawless.

I made a quick video of some of the texture work so far
