Increased Selling Prices (v1.1)

Postby gmq » Fri Oct 30, 2009 8:42 pm

Increased Selling Prices does exactly that. It increases the selling price of enchanted and unique items from the low low default. It breaks the game's balance, consider yourself warned.

Download
Version 1.1: Unique 25% / Enchanted 8%:

Version 1.0: Unique & Enchanted 25%:

Installation
Unzip into your mods folder (%appdata%\Runic Games\Torchlight\mods\). install only one at a time.

History
Version 1.1 balances a little the selling price for enchanted items. Considering their drop rate, 25% was insane.

that almost seems to be a correct balance vs the weak amount you sell things for now..

What's the point of playing the game if it's going to be so goddamned easy..
In the wake, our existence. In our parades... and in our dances.
With great spirits proclaiming that capitalism is indeed organized crime - and we're all the victims.

Agreed. It's nice he offers this up for people who feel they are getting shafted by the vendors but really, you might as well mod in a million gold and call it good.

Though it's their game, who am I to judge? Other than offering my opinion that no one asked for. :P Carry on.

Looks good so far. It's nice to have an incentive to actually sell items versus transmuting.

My god, if you could please mod in so blue/greens increase based on the floor you are on in the infinite dungeon much faster, I would WORSHIP you! :P Or perhaps tell me how to find the files to do so if you know ;) Also, btw, sweet ass mod. Definitely going to use this, as I'm a cheap ass and beat the game already anyways >:D

I second the motion on this request! Can you tell us how to tweak the .dat files to get crazy-high prices?

I also cheerfully admit to being cheap, but i wouldn't dream of asking anyone else to sink to my level! So just let me know how it's done and I'll stop disgracing you with my presence!
