It is actually Avril Lavigne... It doesn't translate that well on the model and at such a tiny size....

AttackGorilla wrote:yes, for the most part (but not entirely) this skin was copy and paste. I am not trying to hide that. The base photo is Avril edited to look like a vampire (from another website). When it is shrunk down and set in that 256x256 square the face basically becomes about 50x50 pixels or so. At that resolution any photorealism is lost and will look like crap...

that's a skin not a model
and you can already do that now

I could put together a detailed how to if you guys really want one, but this process really isn't too hard (just takes some time for it to look good and so know how in an image editor application of your choosing). Right now the only images that work in the mod folder are the PNG files (DDS files will work in the root, but I am waiting for the patch to ge them working in the Mod folder).
So, when you download my mod you will see the file structure and images. All you do is find those images and file structure in the torchlight root folder in the Pak.zip file and copy them into a new mod folder with exactly the same file structure (only copy over the images you want to replace/edit). Then just simply open the image files you copied into the Mod folder and edit them. Then save the edits as PNG (maintaining the file name).
Note that once you place the images in the correct mod structure you can start up Torchlight and see your changes in action. Go to the character select page and when you toggle between characters it reloads the PNG file, so you can edit and save the PNG files while directly looking at your changes in action on the character model in the game.
Also, make sure to uncheck the "read only" option on the file properties for the PNG files, otherwise you can't save over the top of them.
Let me know if you need any more clarification or if any of that was confusing.... hope this helps anyone wondering how we are doing some of the image mods thus far.

I saved it at C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\runic games\torchlight\mods\media\models\Cat as "cat_pet.png" but I don´t see anz difference in TL.
But this is what Torchlight tells me: "Game Mods do not match those enabled when this charakter was last save. Continue at your own risk"
What does it mean?

I do not have the game with me at the moment, but take a look here: http://forums.runicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2824
from what I can tell from the above thread the cate skin is a DDS file, not a PNG (but once again I do not have the game in front of me at this time).
That warning message is just telling you that a new Mod has been loaded, by you, since the last time you saved that character. Basically, "you changed something and Runic is not responsible for any negative results".
