Queen Hatshepsut Pet

Extensively tested, she works perfectly in game. Fires Poison Bolts, Webs, and summons Enslaved. Recommended for very hard. Enjoy. :)

You've done an amazing job. Could you share how you made her? Did you edit the vanquisher model?

This mod doesn't work for me. I created a new char to test it out (yes, I removed all the other mods I had first before doing this) and at first there was just no fish in the Gen. Store. So I went down to the mines and came back, and the Gen. Store wasn't selling anything now. :/ Restarting the game doesn't fix this....

The HatshepsutMod folder is in the mod folder, and the HatshepsutRsc folder is in the Torchlight folder, yes I edited the resources.cfg file properly too. Dunno what else to do.

Note: I did repack the Pak.zip folder to make the game start up faster, but this didn't interfere with any of the other mods...

Found the problem and fixed it. Should have caught it earlier, but I was overwriting my original directory with my package and not realizing that the lack of .DATs was causing the problem (the originals were retained in the directory.)

Thank you for the compliments. There is no actual model work, only texture editing of the zealot monster (so, not quite so amazing as a vanquisher edit.) Pulling apart the model, texture, and material files for editing is quite easy though. I will post a how-to in mod discussion a little later tonight if there isn't one already.

I downloaded the mod, copied 'HatshepsutRsc' into my Torchlight folder, copied 'HatshepsutMod' into my Mods folder, and lastly copied/replaced the cfg file. When I use the fish in-game the game crashes.

Just downloaded, cleared all previous files, then installed and it seems to work fine. Are you sure you don't have a conflicting mod installed?

The mod works great for me, the only problem is I'm trying to reload my respec mod, which adds a potion to the general vendor. I'm following the directions in the readme, but the problem is, no matter what I do, the game still has the fish in there. I even completely removed the spawnclasses folder for this mod, and fish folder in units\items but it still shows up. Please help.

@mesyn: Sure thing :)

@afflux: Try going in and out of the game with the character a couple of times or waiting around town for about a minute. The vendor has to refresh his inventory for the fish to go away. Deleting spawnclasses should make it impossible for him to spawn it again though.

With patch 1.12 we no longer need to alter the resource.cfg file.

Just merge the two media folders and drop into the mods folder. Confirmed it works without any further alteration. Nice mod, though too overpowered for my tastes. Wouldn't mind a version which is a rare fishable over a certain level (perhaps 25 - 30) and will max at 2 minutes, so none of the higher level fish types.

Unfortunately the fish still shows up and the respec potion doesn't. Merchants still change out their wares, and the fish is still there even without the spawnclasses/items folders. I even made a new char, bought the fish from him to see if it is still usable, and it worked just fine.

Great news about 1.12. I just repackaged it to work without the .cfg. I'll hopefully get a fish transformation version out by tomorrow night.

Unfortunately, I still don't know what the problem could be afflux. :( If you have deleted the spawnclass folder it should be technically impossible for the merchant to still have the fish. You could even try deleting the fish .adm and .dat files. Then the information for the fish won't exist either.

I've completely deleted the "HatshepsutMod" folder from the mods folder and the fish is still there. Oh well, I guess I can deal with it for now.

Heyo there.

I grabbed the Mod from a japanese site, since it is not available in this topic and where the link points to.
I installed the Mod in the mod directory, combined both media folders, modded it from PERMANENT to 3600 Seconds (1 hour) and changed the skin.

I have to say...it works flawlessly so far on version 1.12. I enjoy using the mod :)

You can manually edit the mod so it works with the respec mod. OR, you could install just Hatshepsut, get your pet to eat the fish, save and log out, and remove the general vendor from the mod, and then install the respec mod again.

EDIT: ok. i'm not lazy anymore. quick question: why the model file is not in the "HatshepsutMod" folder?
EDIT2: works perfectly without editing resource.cfg (putting the model folder and file in HatshepsutMod instead of torchlight folder)
