Zorf, is there a reason why you changed "MAGICFIND_UNIQUE_INFLUENCE"? What do those properties do?

those numbers will bias drops towards magic, unique and set items, and will stop the dropping of White items.

the only "rare" drop with those numbers in place is Necklaces. somehow they are just less rolled for in my experience.

you will usually see 1 drop every 5 mobs, and at least 1 drop per boss plus potions this way.

standard drop rate with no white items are better imo ;)

If you mean "Tier 3" Ancient Items both mods do not deliver same files. That should mean: they are compatible.

My mod only adds item files and I created them pre-editor so the initial install has no GUIDs (I.E. it should be compatible with every mod unless someone has a mod with the same item names).

The Goblin Bow isn't considered a Normal item. It's not Magic or Unique either. The game treats it as its own special item for whatever reason. Same goes for the Spike Bow.

I have a very weird situation going on that I don't think is related to this mod, but it's the only one I have installed at the moment so I figured I'd start here.

The Transmuter has stopped giving me any gems when I transmute 4 Uniques collected through this mod. I hear the words "Fortune has smiled upon you", but there is no gem there afterward. It's not in my inventory, or my pet's inventory, or in any stash, it's just not there. I have gone as far as completely uninstalling the game, deleting all saves and everything, redownloading the game to be sure I have the latest version, re-installing, and putting just this mod on, and it still does it. It worked fine for a while, but started doing this when I was tweaking another mod, but I can't figure out why even after a complete uninstall and reinstall it would still be doing this. Any clues?

I'm not transmuting gems, I'm transmuting 4 random unique items (weapons/armor/etc) that I get from drops and trying to turn them into regular gems.

The ability to transmute 4 uniques into a random regular gem is part of the unmodified game:

then are we sure that we are using 4 UNIQUE items and not 4 RARE items with a yellow background ?

it has been known to befuddle a number of folks.

I guess I will double check that, although I thought unique items always had a yellow background. In any event, it should not tell me that fortune is smiling upon me, take all 4 items I give him, and then not give me anything in exchange.
