CHECK ALSO VNOMS GTO BASED MODIFICATION!

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

Spoiler: show
Take backup of your saves at (c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\runic games\torchlight\save
Always delete older installation of GTO before installing new version.
If mod(s) isn't working correctly delete these files (before deleting take backups just in case):
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\runic games\torchlight\massfile.dat
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\runic games\torchlight\massfile.dat.ADM
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\runic games\torchlight\masterresourceunits.dat
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\runic games\torchlight\masterresourceunits.dat.ADM

Extract GTOvxxx.zip to c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\runic games\torchlight\mods so it should look like this:

Increased duration of Shield Wall by 5 seconds.
Corrected Shockwave cooldown. It was 0 seconds, now it is 6 seconds.
Fixed typos

0.3.2

Fixed Ambidextrous lvl 1 not giving any bonuses.
Revamped Dash (it no more have stun chance, but instead increases movement speed passively and increases slow resistance passively and also has high interrupt chance.)
Bladestorm now has passive dual-wield bonus and also increases damage you by 10% for 3 seconds.
Increased max armor value of shields by 5-10%.

NEW SKILL: Heroic Deeds (titan tier 1).
NEW SKILL: Battle Expert (berserker tier 1).
NEW SKILL: Leadership (titan tier 2).

Revamped Destroyer is now independent class 'Barbarian'. (Thanks to Azrael for his help! You rock!)
Barbarian now has different skin than original Destroyer. Added more beard and made his beard white. Also removed "tattoo" from his skin, improved highlights and made his skin more golden colored.

Made little more changes to skin. New bald look. :)
Corrected description of The Barbarian.

Fixed some skill tooltips, should feel more professional now.
Little more tweaks to barbarian skin.

Skill Changes

Blademaster skill tree is now Berserker
Templar skill tree is now Protector
Barbarian now has point in Cleave and Bash at start.
Blade Dance is now Hack and Slash
Trollblood is now Regeneration
Reflect Missiles is now Deflect
Dash: Decreased weapon dps bonus by ~20%.
Dash: Now has correct mana cost.
Bladestorm: Decreased ice and electic damage by 40 per level.
Bladestorm: Now has correct mana cost.
Bladestorm: Benefits from Strenght.
Bash: Decreased mana cost.
Bash: Does now has small aoe.
Thunder Stomp: Decreased stun duration from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.
Barbarian's Fury: Now has 2x more speed increase per levels.

Monsters

Increased damage and health of champion mobs approx ~10-20%
Made trolls little larger.
Made champion mobs more variable at size.
Added fire aoe ability to trolls.

Items

Fixed Tier 2 items for Barbarian (thanks azrael!)
Barbarian starts with Spear.
Added 12 new rare potions.
Added 1 new unique shield.
Added 1 new unique ring.
Increased stack size of mana/health potions from 20 to 100.
Increased stack size of identify/town portal scrolls from 20 to 100.
There is very small chance that respec potion drops.
Added fishes to loot tables (chance to drop is half that scrolls have).
Enchanting never fails
Enchanting is little more expensive
Enchanter can enchant item up to 6 times.
Enchant shrines can enchant items up to 8 times (this means you can enchant maximum 8 times, not 6+8=14)
Pearls now has HP regeneration when put into armors and strenght when put into weapons (it was visa versa [it felt "wrong"])

GEM OVERHAUL!!!

Skill Changes

Battle Expert: No more gives +% potion effectiveness instead gives +% martial weapon dmg
Battle Expert: Reduced Martial weapon dmg and Experience gain bonuses little.

Monsters

Only Champion trolls now have aoe attack.
Construct champions have shield wall skill.
Trolls and Constructs give little more xp.
Troll champion aoe attack no more deael insane fire dmg.

Items

Normal gems no more drop.
Chaos gem is now Gem.
Gems have random Prefixes/Suffixes
Gems have new icon.
Gems vendor no more sell gems.
Gems are slighty rarer.
Rare potions no more drop (until i fix them).
Enchanter now has 25% chance to give socket (down from 100%)
Enchant Shrine now has 0% chance to give socket (down from 100%)

0.4.2

Items

Toned down some gem prefixes/suffixes
Added more different prefixes/suffixes to gems
Deleted Unluckiness suffix that decreased magic find, found strange bug that with such suffix only legendarys was dropping.

0.4.3

Skills

Nerfed deflect (was way too overpowered)

Monsters

Trolls give slighty more experience.

Items

Missile Reflect affix now only appears on shields (it was way too good)
New gem icon.
Added over 100 more affixes to gems.
New unique polearm (Thanks EverDark to let me use your very nice model!)

0.4.5

Barbarian

Barbarian now starts with spear, 2 rusty blades and shield.
Barbarian now starts with 6 HP /sec regeneration.
Barbarian now starts with 50 mana and level ups doesn't no more increase maximum mana. (He's barbarian after all, and everyone knows how poor spellcasters

barbarians are.)
Battle Expert is now tier 2 skill.
Cleave now requires that you wield weapon at both hands (dual wield).
Bladestorm now requires that you wield weapon at both hands (dual wield).
Hack and Slash now requires that you wield weapon at both hands (dual wield).
Bash now requires that you wield polearm (2-handed).
Bash now is now based on Weapon DPS.
Earthquake now requires that you wield polearm (2-handed).
Earthquake is now based on Weapon DPS.
Earthquake now benefits 100% from strenght (down from 200%)
Shockwave now requiress that you wield polearm (2-handed).
Shockwave is now based on Weapon DPS.
Shockwave now benefits 100% from strenght (down from 200%)
Thunderstomp now requires that you wield shield.
Thunderstomp is now based on Weapon DPS.
Deflect is now Reflective Shield.
Reflective Shield now requires that you wield shield.
Reflective Shield is now active skill.
Shield Wall now requires that you wield shield.
Aura of Thunder now has change to shock targets and interrupt.
Aura of Slowing debuff lasts now 3 seconds.
Dash is now Shield Charge at it is now protector tier 1 skill. (doesn't have passive buffs anymore)
Frenzy is now Lightning Reflex and also includes movement speed.

Items

New gem icon.
Gems are slighty more rare.
More identify scrolls are dropping, less town portals.
New mysterious items (including new models [thanks to Heron!])
New affixes for armors, weapons, shields...
Price value of potions are now higher.

Monsters

Raised hp of enemies in very hard (slightly)
Raised damage of enemies in very hard (slightly)

AND MUCH MUCH MORE... (There is zillion little tweaks that i can't remember.)

0.4.6

Barbarian

Shield Charge has unique icon now.
Leadership is slightly buffed.
Barbarian starts with 500 HP and gain +100 HP per level up. (This may sound like crazy buff, but because potions are much more rare this was necessary change)
Barbarian has slightly faster mana regeneration.
Thunder Stomp has shorter cooldown.
Improved Blocking is now Defender
Defender in addition also increases defensive spell mastery.
Cleave no more requires dual-wielding (but is still more effective when used with two weapons.)

Items

Gems now are always identified.
Merchants no more sell potions.
Potions are much more rare.
Potions have shorten duration.
Haste no more increases attack speed.
Haste movement speed bonus is nerfed.
Haste duration is slightly longer.
General Merchant now sells Heal Self I (which i recommend buying first with new characters).
Selling value of uniques and magical items are higher.

Monsters

Monsters in general are now slightly faster.
Very hard champions have slightly more armor.

You are right. You can always restore default Destroyer by deleting my mod. I tried to name it as Barbarian and tweak layout files etc, but it didn't work.

No help here unfortunately. I know the person working on the Vampire class got it working at least by their screen shot and also the Necromancer in my sig is set up as a fourth class.

I definitely can't wait to try it out though I may have to hold off till I finish will my current destroyer.

This replaces the destroyer with a new character, the Berserker! New skills, new skill buttons and new balancing.

My class is named Destroyer until i find way to make it show as Barbarian and actually work. Maybe i can get some help from other modders, because it has done before, i'm just slacking.

Nice overhaul, quite abit of improvement over old skill trees.

Just a suggestion, some skills are pretty good but aren't terribly too exciting. Maybe you could give those types of talents multiple effects?

For example, lets take Improved Blocking, maybe you could rename it to something like "<insert creative name here!>" and every 2nd or 3rd level you get +1 to defensive magic abilities. Maybe even +0.5% magic find a level, little bonuses that spruce up dull talents but not big enough so that people will just get the talent for the bonuses.

It might make it abit imbalanced but maybe adding little extra to those talents (Without going overboard) might make them less dull. But otherwise great overhaul :)

Those are good suggestions. I try to make some sense when adding bonuses and skills. Like Treasure hunter doesn't really fit to Berserker. Defensive magic would fit nicely to blocking, i have to think about it.

It's more revamp than brand new class. Did you double check that you installed into correct place?

It should look something like this:

Hehe, i'm not done with even Destroyer yet, still need more balancing and maybe new skills to berserker/titan.

For next version i plan to increase armor value of shields (5-10%), increase damage of polearms (5-10%), little slower and little more reach (range). These changes should make shields and polearms more desirable.

As I said in the other thread, this is hands-down the best mod I've seen. Well done. I also think you should add this as a separate class to choose rather than replacing the Destroyer
