Product: Torchlight running on PC / Windows 7 32-bit.
Problem: The shift key does not cause a game character (while equipped with a direct-fire weapon) to stop and fire until the shift key is released. If the game character is stopped and the shift key is pressed, the game character will not fire the equipped weapon. NOTE: If the game character is moving, pressing the shift key will cause the game character to stop in place. The shift key appears correctly bound to all other functions...
Expected Action: If the shift key is pressed when firing a bow, gun, etc. my character should stay in it's position and fire the weapon towards where ever the cursor was placed.
Actual Action: Pressing the shift key when firing a direct-fire weapon (at range) causes the weapon not to fire. One must highlight the enemy character with the cursor and then fire the weapon.
NOTE: If the enemy character is dispatched before the "number of direct-fire shots to be fired" in the buffer is reached, the game character starts moving towards wherever the cursor was previously pointed / placed. User has to press the shift key to stop the character's movement into DANGER. The shift-click-fire function has worked correctly until just recently.
