Pathing problems

I have a map chunk with a miniboss encounter on it. I've currently got it set up (using timelines) so that whichever side the player enters on, the monster appears on the opposite side, walks to a balcony rail, then stands there until the second trigger teleports them down.

Strangely, the only part of this which is giving me problems is walking to the rail.

I've got two Pathing entites set up one called NorthWalk and EastWalk, both target my PhantomMiniboss. When the player enters the chunk by the north, the event works as desired, with the miniboss walking to the rail and waiting there in the correct position (at the end of the path).

When the player enters from the East however, the miniboss does not walk to the path when it is triggered and instead either stands there doing nothing or walks directly at the player and stops about 3m away from the path endpoint.

Any ideas?

Case 2, Player enters from the north, AI appears on the south platform and walks to the yellow pathing node when it is enabled.
Case 1, Player enters from the east, AI appears on the north bridge and either remains stationary or walks to the end of the drawn arrow when the yellow pathing node depicted is enabled.
