Pretty sure Runic needs one of these in the office...

Postby Rusty » Mon Nov 21, 2011 12:36 pm

So the video of the Runic offices got me to thinking about what sort of things they should have in their office. Lets hear your suggestions.

Here is what I have to offer.

Well, since you're offering... we accept shipments from UPS, FedEx and USPS.

Dillinger approves of your table.

I think this would be usefull http://www.shower-anywhere.com/portable ... h-dre.aspx
I'm not commenting on the dev's hygene, I DO know that a nice shower can be both relaxing AND refreshing. I imagine during crunch time, what with some people spending nights in the office, that it would be nice to have something like this.

It's something you already have, but I heartily approve of your MAME Cabinet (seen at around 3:55 in the tour video)!

Did you guys put it together yourselves or buy it pre-made? My wife and I made our own, and our kids love it (as do the parents of our kids' friends...)

I saw this at the Exibition "Spiel 2011" in Essen, Germany.

It has something from the first post, but it's portable.

Hmm...a Torchlight driven Boardgame...that would be awesome

Can you imagine Segways? For those of us with above average height, any door or low hanging object would become an instant headache  They would of course need one for Falcor. That or Wonder could get one of these:

I just think they need a Deity of some sort of evil around to supervise things.

Or silly hats. Lots and lots of silly hats.

hehe, in the Travis interview he said he met Phil Shenk, who was the project director or something for Diablo 2. That probably explains the Overseer role.

Add tiki torches in the mix and have statues of the dog, cat, and ferret guarding the pool. Also it would be nice to have a fire pit for making good food. For the release of TL2 they can invite all of us over for Hawaiian Hula night with Hawaiian Hula girls. :ugeek:  :o

that's pretty cool. anyone has the starcraft 2 collecters edition set, those jim raynor USB dog tags are sick, runic definitely needs those.

i suggest a more older motif, like this a more gloomy yet very good working environment, just to keep devs and testers on their feet all the time.

just ignore the chain gun so you get a better idea.

I think Brock threw it together.
