Oh, I hope we find out what Falcor's favorite doggy-toy is...

Haha..I love his face just as he grabs the ball. Dog joy is priceless.

ha, that was a great video
more Falcor !

last Friday's video was enough official news for me. It said they were about 1/2 way finished with their 2nd pass of polish in Act 2 and they still have Act 3 to go.
That gives me enough info right there. It lets me know that it's too early for a beta announcement; it's too early for a gameplay video; it's too early to see the skill tree.
Ok, I'm fine with all that.
I'd be totally happy with the videos I requested.

I thought they could start the beta because it covers only act 1, isn't it easier to correct bugs the sooner ?

I'm thinking that polishing Act 3 might cause them to rethink the skills available in Act 1: maybe make them stronger, weaker, move them around ?
I don't think they want to do what Blizzard did with D3 (show off these awesome skill runes and then months into the beta discover they're too difficult to balance so they decide to completely change them).
I think Runic wants to avoid all the negative feedback and complaining that Blizz got. I think that when TL2 goes beta, they actually want to have the skill system pretty well nailed down.

But we don't know how many pass they do to polish an Act ?... is it 2 pass ... or is it 300 pass ?

I think they're going with ... "Enough", passes.

I'm guessing by the overall silence that there is either: A) no update or B) the devs forgot about it. Sure would have been nice to have communicated this to the fans though.

So when did they ever say it would become a regular thing? Either I missed it, or people are once again feeling entitled. :?

True, perhaps the last 4 consecutive Friday updates in a row did lead people (or at least me) to assume we'd get even a modest bit of an update from them once a week. As they say though, communication is everything. It would be far easier to say, "Hey for the month of February we're going to give you guys a quick mini-update every Friday through the end of the month." Then at least people know what to expect and you don't get their hopes up that this is a regular thing. We've all been waiting for some meaningful updates ever since they quietly announced a delay last December. Here we are now, in March...

Honestly, I'd be happy with a new screenshot of the game once a week. That's all I'll say on the matter - anything more and I'll start to sound like an irate fanboy.

Its not that we feel entitled. Most people here are jumping out of their skin excited for this thing.

Over the last month Friday is when we might get a little more to chew on.

I look forward to it. I'm sure everyone else does too.

I think Wonder kind of hinted in her last interview that Fridays would be more of a regular thing now that the new website is up. She is super busy though, so may be out of town today.

There's something coming for a Friday Treat, but what is delaying it is far more important. You'd be upset if we prioritized our Friday news over what we're actually working on at this very moment :)
