I had completely stopped reading up on the game and checking the forums in early June when it became apparently we weren't getting any new news.

A change log from beta? Still too much?
A list of basic features not shown in beta or significantly changed sense? No?
An update as to why they EVER thought they could release in 2011 when there is still no end in sight?
They have given few if any updates, and everything they say with regards to time frame ends up being false. Not going to bother listing every statement made and broken at this point, it's just bad PR.

I decided to check back last week and again this week, and these weekly news updates are pathetic. Oh, Torchlight 1 is on sale on some random website. Oh, you're going to be at a gaming conference in two months.

Have a different guy do it every week, and it won't impact developement time of the game itself, and will give very diverse and interesting info for the fans to enjoy.
