As a side thought, who (besides me) is hoping we get to import our saves from the Beta into the main game? I found some truly neat stuff in that beta.

b) a ton of things have changed since the beta, which could make those things overpowered, underpowered, or just non-sensicle (made up word) in their form.

As much as I'd like beta characters to carry over, he has the right of it on point B. But it's more because of categoric changes to equipment, skills, etc. from beta to final game polish.

Speaking of carry-overs, any word on Torchlight 1 saves?

Now before you get the wrong idea, I'm NOT talking about carrying over the characters or equipment from TL-1. Instead, for some old games (thinks of PS2 Gran Turismo) if you had a completed save of the older title, you could start off a new character with some extra gold or goods.

Any chance of this happening?
