What to Expect of the Fabled Gaming Community:
Hello and thank you for looking at this thread. Simply coming to view this thread is the first step in creating and becoming a part of a group of players that want to play Torchlight 2! Each of us wants something out of the game, and if you are looking to play with a group of friendly people who LOVE TL2, then this is the community to join!
The Fabled Gaming Community currently only supports two games. We support Minecraft and Torchlight 2.
Note: The information below is fairly accurate, but as the game isn't out yet, some statements may be wrong and are hypothetical. The system is pretty much established but it may be changed for something better and release information may make facts in this thread more certain.
We offer a teamspeak 3 and an enjin website that can be used to coordinate with other torchlight 2 players. Want to play with a player that has a microphone? Join the ts3. Want to play some specific mod with other players? Go make a thread on the forum and try to schedule some play time! We offer some of the best tools for helping players coodinate play together. The website is good, but having an active ts3 is the primary way to connect with players.
The goal of the Gaming Community is to provide a resource for players to find other players that want to play TL2 as they do all whilst have fun with familiar faces. If you want to be entirely without cheats and 'vanilla', no mods or cheats, you will be able to find players that want to be vanilla as well. So how do we do this? Basically as popularity explodes for different playstyles and for TL2, a staff member may create a sticky representing that playstyle. Hopefully, this will draw more attention to the playstyle and make it bigger. If sticky gets really popular, or there is a lot of interest in the Ts3 from players, then that playstyle will gain it's own forum! For example, if anybody wants to play the game legit, then they should check out the EmberDragons on the forums and ts3, the group for pure legit play. If you want to play some relatively unknown playstyle, or even some brand new mod, start a thread about the mod, talk about it in ts3, and really sell trying to get other people to play it!!! I'm sure a lot of people will be willing to try out new things!
Lastly, we do expect to produce some custom mods if the TorchED 2 editor is very good. Some will be public, others will be private for members only. I currently have 4 custom minecraft mods that I have produced and am constantly working on making more. I am a hard worker when it comes to coding and have good experience and skills learning new languages quickly.

Style: Legit, No Mods, No Cheats.
Difficulty: The EmberDragons focus around playing the game on normal or veteran difficulty. Casual difficulty is far too easy to find any fun out of playing and Elite, while a good challenge, appears to be more time consuming than actually progressive and fun.
Playstyle: We are primarily semi-hardcore gamers who enjoy playing for hours a day. We aren't super hardcore no-sleep players. In regards to levels, the goal is to achieve level 100. However, if there is very little content to play in the range of say, level 70s to 100, it is unlikely we will grind up to level 100 and may likely stop before level 100.
