NOTICE!

This thread will now be updated on a bi-monthly basis. This gives modders time to change what they feel should be changed before it is finalized in my thread, and also gives me time to search and add as many mods as I can. Also, new forum rules make it necessary, as a moderator needs to approve edits made to the thread. If you see a section vanish, fear not, for it only means that a moderator is approving the edit, and it should be back shortly.


You can help! See a mod, tool, or save that you think should be linked? Let me know, either by a post here or in a private message and I will add it!

Adding many mods can get tiresome, and I may accidentally make a mistake. Is the mod name misspelled, or the author name? Is the date added incorrect? Does it link to an entirely different mod, or do you think it is in the wrong section, or a new section should be made for it? If you see anything that you feel needs to be changed, PLEASE let me know and I will get onto it.

This mod simply allows you to bind Icy Blast and Frost Wave to your left mouse button. It has the side-effect of removing the 800ms cooldown on Icy Blast to prevent weapon swings while chain-casting it.

I added an attack speed debuff extremely useful for staff fighters and other warrior mages. This debuff is equally strong as the slow effect so over 50 % attack speed reduction on the higher levels of the skill.

Basically this is a modification for the duration of the Embermage skill 'Elemental Boon' but also modifies its cooldown, cost of Mana and the duration of the mana regen.

Is it even possible for us to enable mods yet in the game? I haven't had a chance to start digging around yet, but don't want to bother if I am just going to be spinning my wheels waiting for a patch that enables modding in the game.

So far the only 'mods' released are two tools to assist in modding and a custom save file somebody added. The only reason I added them is because modders may find these tools useful to find in the future and the save technically "modifies" your game. I remember reading somewhere that a dev said it was possible to mod the game before the mod tools are released, although they would be MUCH harder.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry if this bothers you. I do my best to keep up TomaLexi's vision alive in TL2. The way it was run in the other subsection is the way I try to run this here. It is only one post in the thread, to let the modder know that I have taken his/her mod to put in this thread. They deserve the right to know this and so does the community. Rest assured though, I asked some prominent members of this forum and a developer as well about what the future for this thread should be.

The community seems split on whether they like my posts or not. But thanks and sorry to each and everyone. I will be doing my best to keep this thread as up-to-date as possible.

It's a thankless job, Gamekillz! Can't say I envy you :lol: ~ But I do think it's a great idea. I personally found the TL1 Mod Collection thread to be an invaluable resource; Especially in combination with sites like RGF. Definitely no harm in having a definitive mod collection on the official Runic Games site!

sorry pls, im so newb, but i would like to get an answer for dis:

im playing torclight 2 via steam, i played torclight 1 a bit w/o any serious, now im playing torchlight 2, i know nothing about mods and another thingy, never used it before or so.
i see here, above, some thingy with which i could get some boon scrolls into my stash.
can i use it into steam torclight 2? is it safe, cos im afraid steam might penetrate me and took back my game or smth else T_T
excuse me pls, if im posting not right place, 100 excuses, dears :)

its fine. you could have made another thread but i will answer it anyways. Its completely safe and you won't be punished for using mods

Gurzeka The Berserker and Set items Merchant Boon crashes the game at loading for me :((( pls help.
i install the sharedstash as i should. its not the only one i use so i know what i'm doing. but when i try to start the game using these stashes, it always crashes the game when it tries to start.

It's probably because your don't have the latest version of the game.

Just a heads up guys, I talked with Webb for a bit and we felt that posting in other people's threads might be unnecessary. Instead I will just upkeep this thread without the posts, and every once in a while bump it or ask for a sticky when the mod showcase section gets very large.
