Overseer Stuck on a balcony

I'm playing melee rogue vanquisher on VH and during the bossfight I managed to push the overseer a the balcony with WOJ and now I am unable to damage him. I can't seem to hit him with any moves, and he won't teleport down.

Is there a way to reset the bossfight without having to go through all the floors to get to him again? I have tried portaling out and leaving the floor but he remains on the balcony and is untouchable.

Any help would be appreciated.

Will WoJ reach him?
Do you have Fireball or Frost? Needle Arc?
Lightning Bomb, or any Trap other than Devouring?
I assume you have no missile weapon of any kind. Can you go back through the level to open some chests or kill something and pick up any bow or rifle?
Venomous Dirks would do it, but I'm guessing you have not progressed enough to have that yet.

With any of those things you should be able to finish him off. It might take awhile, but doable.

Final option. Teleport back to town. Get Fireball or a basic missile weapon, preferably the heftiest rifle you can afford, in case he is a little too far away for a pistol or bow.
The open portal should perserve the state of the dungeon until you come back. Now the one problem with that is that the OverS might either be a)off the ledge again and raring to go, or b) disappeared (but I don't think so.)

I cant him with a gun or trap or anything I have tried, he is on a balcony where the skeletons jump off and nothing I have tried can hit him. I guess I will just do a map dungeon and reset the floors because nothing is working. I'm only like lvl 12 so I don't have flechete or anything.

If you can tempt him to come close to the rail of the balcony, then a rifle or crossbow firing normal shot should hit him occasionally, just when he is right at the rail. Best would be to use a fireball spell, it should do some damage even if he is a little behind the rail. Frost might reach him also.
