runicgames here is a big, fat tease for ya....make sure you buy a copy of PC Gamer when it hits the stands tomorrow!!! XD

By any chance has anyone got their hands on a copy early, if so what does it say about Runic Games, or more importantly Torchlight?

8:00 pm New York, June 22
checked the Barnes and Noble on 82nd street and Broadway
I saw this issue on sale, which is the august issue, and according to this site http://www.pcgamer.com/ is the issue that is supposed to go on sale tomorrow
I looked through it, but I didn't see anything, so I guess I'm blind; so I didn't buy it
but now that I look at the cover again, maybe I should have looked at the article entitled "10 must-play netbook games",
because they did say they had it running on a netbook, so maybe it was being featured in that article

Yeah, I got that copy a week ago (August edition in the middle of June? Enh?). I just briefed through it again, and I don't see anything on Runic or Torchlight. They mention getting Diablo 2 for your gaming notebook, but that's all I've seen.

So if people already have that issue, perhaps we want the september issue, which may be out tomorrow?

Nah, I got the issue early because I subscribe. And, knowing them, they won't put out another issue for two months.

miscommunication between the magazine publisher and Runic ?

that's why they usually don't give specific dates :D
but prefer to talk in generalities

it'll be done soon
it'll come out soon

You are correct - my bad, guys, sorry about all the fuss -

Working with the super nice guys at PC Gamer, we only talked about the "next" issue, and we had an extremely short production deadline --so we assumed it was the next issue to hit the stands. It's not. It's the next issue to go to print.

September's issue! Gah! Don't worry, half of us were suckered in, too, we ran out to Borders this morning, bought it and tore it open and "....where...?"

But I guess that's a good leak just a bit early, eh? We *will* be in the next next issue! :D

That's good to hear, 'cause I think my subscription ends with the next issue.

So can you give us a hint on what the PC Gamer issue will cover?
