Hi, everyone. Just a quick note that we've released a linux version of Torchlight through the Humble Bundle. Enjoy! ;)

I know this is a bit early... But does this mean we can hope for a native Torchlight II? I'm going to be playing it in WINE thursday, but looking forward to a native version with native Steam would make my week. Borderlands 2, Dota 2 invite, Torchlight II, Torchlight available natively, Other games in the Humble Bundle, and my B-day all in one week!

EDIT: And just to say, I immediately bought that bundle. I don't care if you'll do the Steam Play option down the line when Steam comes to Linux, I wanted to support you for supporting me. Thanks Runic! Money well spent on a game I already own ;)

Wow. Just. Wow guys. Just. I'm not a linux guy but for those who are...wow.

Once again, you guys prove me wrong yet manage to make me happy about being proved wrong.
Might want to clarify that its Torchlight, though, as a lot of people might not take the time to notice that this post is in the TOrchlight section and might assume you're talking about TOrchlight II

Awesome, will you also release linux versions of T1 and T2 when linux steam will start? If so will it become available for current windows version owners?

Thanks, I've bought it.

However, when I'm playing with Vanquisher or Alchemist, their heads are missing. I'm playing with Radeon 6850, open source drivers (Ubuntu 12.04, latest xorg ppa).

I would start from building deb package with official 12.8 release.

Since I've installed the ppa, I can't install fglrx without downgrading Xorg/kernel and that is problematic. Besides, I'd like the open source drivers to work. I'm not sure where the bug is. Maybe it can be worked around somehow in Torchlight.

Let's try to keep support requests in the support thread for sake of sanity: viewforum.php?f=24 ;)

The fact that my Start Menu listed this game under "Logic Games" made me giggle :) .

Thanks a lot for the Linux port!

Thank you!

Now I own three different versions of Torchlight 1. Here's hoping I can do the same with Torchlight 2 (eventually).

I really didn`t see this coming. I have ubuntu 10.xx LTS something running on on dual boot. I guess this is another reason to buy TL1 once again. This is extremly good news. Thanks Runic!

Just bought the Humble Bundle, registered here to say thanks for the Linux port. Already had it through Steam via Wine, but had to show my support for a native vesion.

Great game. Thank you.
