Skilltree reset possible?

Basically, respec potions have a Rarity.
It's currently zero - you just set it to something other than zero.
You can then just dump it into a merchan'ts inventory, and voila - purchasable respec potion
If people have trouble getting it working, we'll make a mod for you and post it

I was hoping this would be standard and in the game, I hate "cheating" or mods...but theres always exceptions.! if a nooby noob like me is able to work out how do add this, then great.

You shouldn't have to make your own mod. Just download a mod somebody else has made for this

I would prefer a limited respec, personally... pay (or quest) per point or the like, rather than a full respec... that, I assume, would be harder to mod :/

No respec gives you a chance to play the game again, with a different set of skills. I like that for the replay factor.

It's not like the possibility of respeccing somehow prevents this :p

Bah, making it an potion trivializes it. Someone should instead create a mod with a "Quest of Shame" that must be undertaken to purposefully toss away all those levels of training for a silver platter respec.

We can't do it until TorchED (the mod tools) are out. They should be available "soon" but last I heard (this morning) they didn't have an ETA.

I read that I just have to enable the console and then type in Shift plus the ` key and then type in Item RespecPotion

However I go into the settings.txt file and change Console :0 to Console :1 and start the game and press the shift and tilde key but I don't see the console to type in the item respecpotion

Any clues what I might have done wrong.
