Played it last night. Brings back memories! :D
Would you mind some feedback?

Stuff I loved:
    The pet choice in the character creation screen instead of having to eat a fish.
    The intro image/text (brought a big smile to my face)
    The padawan summon skill - very flavorful and cool
    Force choke works!

Little things that still need work:
    The walking sound effect from the little droid gets old really quick. Probably should turn it off
    Could the drop rate for lightsabers be adjusted? I didn't see a single one
    Force choke seems underpowered compared to Force Push

But seriously, thank you for taking over this project. It looks great. You guys are awesome.

Force choke seems underpowered compared to Force Push - I admit skills balance, individually and as a set, isn't quite there yet :( will put it on the to-do list...

Pardon my obtuseness, but has Force Push been fixed? This is the main thing holding me back from starting a new character with this mod. A Jedi character with working Force Push would be awesome. Working Lightsaber Skill would double the awesomeness.

Hey Phanjam!! :p, i finally got the Jedi working in conjunction of my other classes (The Abomination as well, ^^), and i just played a bit, but i have a doubt.. wat is the purpose of the power converter?? i see it on my inventory but i cant do anything with it.. it is some kind of addon for the light sabers?? i still didnt get any lightsaber (i am level 10) so i cant try it out. Good job so far, i like it (but i still dont feel like a Padawan without any lightsabers in my hand.. :shock: ).

Hi N3M3SIS! The "Power converter" is one of the Lightsabers available, so it's odd that you aren't able to use it :( . Did you try equipping it like a normal sword (drag it over to the sword-slot in your inventory/equipment panel)? Also, the mod should have started your Jedi character with an ordinary lightsaber already equipped - did it not give you a lightsaber to start with?

Nop... i have the power converter in my inventory, but i CANT equip it. I tried to drop it on the weapon slot, i tried to equip it using the second mouse button, but nothing happens. The game says something about i cant use it. The character starts without any weapon, just the power converter in the inventory. I imagined it was a weapon, but since i cant do anything with it, i am a bit confused. This is weird, i am the only one who had this issue????? :shock:

Besides, i noticed the power converter has no description or stats at all, just the name of the weapon and thats it.

Anyways, talking about other things... i re-compiled all the mods i had, just in case, and now the jedi class is messing up all my classes items :p (again). I diecided to DELETE the original classes (Alchemist,Vanquisher,Destroyer) since i never use em, and now i have space for adding 2 more classes and i hope i wont have any more problems. BUT, it is too tedious to edit every item file and erase the original classes wardrobe lines, any ideas on how to do this in a fast way??? or... someone have the item files without any wardrobe reference in it??

After 4 hours deleting the original clases wardrobe references from the item files to allow the jedi to compile without any problem, i found that the item fixer doesnt work with item files without any wardrobe specified. Do we need to have the original classes wardrobes written on the item files for the item fixer to work??

Cant we launch the game without the original classes installed??

This was a very extreme step. I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner - I would have advised you against it as I don't think it would have helped much.

Yes you do! Those item-fixers "copy" the existing lines in the item files, revise them slightly for the new class/es and then add the revised lines to the file. So without the original lines in there, there is nothing to copy!

I know you can remove them from the character selection options, but I don't think removing them from the game has been done before. But again, I doubt this will help much to solve your current problem :)

I dont know exactly wat the game told me, cuz it is a different phrase evrytime (u know the automated response when u try to use something that u cant use or equip on any way or the game thinks "wat the hell u want me to do with that?" lol)

OK, i need to remove the abomination and replace it with the Jedi (the game will not allow me to have both at the same time, too much resources.... ) and after that i will post the ogre here

The armors yes, they show up, but messed up (classic armour bug)

Well, it worked before, cuz i had the spritirst and the spiritdancer references and i wasnt using em, i deleted it to allow the Abomination (i coudnt before) and without re-compiling it seems that the Jedi can work fine too, but once i re-compile the Jedi, all gets messed up.

Well, if the game works with the original classes as any other modded one, it should work just fine, the problem is to erase those references from the dat files.. (i guess).

But if i would know how to make, for example the "trick" like Jericho class compilation mod to allow 20 classes working at the same time, i will not have all these problems :p

But yup, i suposse TL is very limited when managing mod resources.

I will post the ogre soon, keep tuned =)

The msgs that the game says when i try to interact with the power converter are "That Is Impossible" and "I cant do that" lol.

Any ideas?? i looked into the basic light saber file but i didnt see anything out of normal...

I also tried to assing a different lightsaber as a starting one, but it didnt show up either, maybe some problems with the particles or something??

I uninstalled the Jedi , waiting for your advises Phanjam, cuz i am afraid my Jedi doesnt work as it should, if u can solve the previous issues i will very happy to install it again!. Maybe it is just a conflict with other mods, but since the ogre.log file doesnt show anything, im totally lost. I am testing other classes and i need space for em, and since the Jedi doesnt work right i prefer to test other classes until it get fixed or we figure it out wats wrong..
