Zoromun's Set

Has anyone else found any other items from this set? It looks pretty sweet.

Nice stats, but the strength requirements is quite high for my caster.

I have the complete set in its Epic version. There are different versions for the rings, each giving +28 to a different stat. I consider it to be a set for a Destroyer build, with nice +% critical damage bonuses.

Well it looks like the only thing so far with a high STR requirement is the weapon. So wouldn't this be a decent set for a Vanquisher, minus the weapon?

I use the belt on one of my Vanqs, who also has an item with -16% pet time to town and I swear it seems like my dog takes about 4 seconds to go to town and come back. Now I use my pet to pick up everything that isn't gold (yes, even white crap) and then send him off to sell for me.

BTW, my Alcy uses some pieces of the Zoro set with a set item wand (forget the name right now, looks like a dragon head on a stick) that fires off a seeking poison missile and does tremendous damage with it on even normal attack.

I do the same with my pet, just by maxing pet mastery (80% reduced travel time from that skill). Takes 24 seconds to run to town, and I've never really missed my pet while it was gone to be honest.

The item you're thinking about is probably Ophidian Venom Sprayer. It's shaped like a cobra's head, and shoots poison bolts. Also it has a nasty +25% poison damage modifier, so if you dual wield them it becomes quite a potent weapon combo.

I have one of those -80% items, and maxed Pet Mastery. The dog gets back so quick that i now use the "Go to Town" button as a self-heal. :P

My lvl 23 Destroyer is using the Armor & Gloves. Nice having 20% Crit on both of them. Very cool looking as well. Would love to get the whole set!

Excellent call, I went and checked last night and it is indeed Ophidian's Venom Sprayer. I only have the one though, but I have some nice +poison dmg equipment on and its plain vanilla attack is nasty, plus its seeking and seems to have a small AoE effect. The Zoro set items have especially nice stats for a low level poison based char.

Also, rechecked my Vanq's pet travel time, and its over 100% (-80% from the Zoro-belt, -16% from something, -8% from pet mastery) and the pet travel time is 0 (yes, zero) seconds. Essentially what happens is that you send your pet away, the animation shows, the timer shows up on your pet's icon as 0:00.0 and then you get the banner back that says your pet has returned. Its like having a traveling gold dispenser with you. Even if you've got a bunch of stuff you're keeping, you can just throw it on the ground and wait the 4 seconds it takes for the whole pet travel sequence to play out. And, as entranced mentions, it heals your pet, so you can save on pots and/or mana for healing.
