It is important to remember that Diablo 3 has been in development for TWELVE YEARS.

Regardless of when it releases in relation to our release date... I am sure they will feel good about finally being able to say they are done.

I believe D3 was announced before Runic Games ever existed
so "Who would ever thought - D3 launching before T2" isn't even really a valid question

most people expected D3 a year and a half ago

Yeah, but fortunately Blizzard Entertainment does know how to use all that time. They certainly won't have wasted it and just produce a whole bunch of crap. From that what I saw on the Diablo 3 forums and the rest of the Web, Diablo 3 is going to rock the #*?$ out of us!

I can't wait to find out more about the story of Diablo 3. But I haven't bought the Book of Cain, yet.

In fact, the Diablo 3 community will feel good about that, too. You should have seen all the stupid posts on the D3 forums. All about speculation when finally Diablo will ship. And all that disaster because of Soon™ was too Soon™. Diablo 3 is now totally overhyped!
