My brother uses that size as well, looks good to me!

Did you buy it off newegg? I remember seeing a shellshocker for a 200$ 22" a few days ago. Might've been Canada only though.

no, sadly, I got it off of Walmart for about $350, the 22in is actually my normal monitor, the thing in the picture is a 39in TV. (so almost double what I normally use)

it's an AZZA solano 1000.

I was gonna upload a picture with the regular monitor side by side with the new TV, but Photobucket is being stupid.

Hmmmmmm *scratches chin*

I think when I go with a new case I will probably go with the Coolermaster HAF, unless this has space behind the motherboard platform for cable management? I don't have a modular PSU

Monitors in the background while heavily modded dungeon case takes precedence? How subtle. :P

I'd spend money on water cooled heatsink before I spent a lot on a case, so much better cooling going on, and I've heard its a lot quieter too. Never used one myself but seems like a good investment.

Water cooling is a pain in the ass, and only worth it if you're hardcore overclocking.

Have you tried the self contained ones? I'm aware of ones with a water tank and all that other crap have to refilled and cleaned, I'm hoping the self contained ones are better.

Looking at reviews it looks good:

Says it beats this noctua fatass cooler by quite a bit which also costs pretty close to 100$:

well for one I would set my desk up better, I could have actually moved it back about a foot or so (big, old wooden desk is big), but I didn't feel like moving my tower and moving the printer & 360 off the desk (what with all the unplugging of wires and whatnot).

secondly ... *shrug* I don't know what secondly would be, I guess secondly I wouldn't use it full time; it was awesome to goof around with and playing some MMOs that big was pretty awesome, but the refresh rate coming out the the PC was a little much (or maybe it was just AMD's shitty HDMI drivers) and I started getting waves & flickers. like you said, it was got a little hard on the eyes.

I think the next thing I'm gonna aim at getting is one of those "Playstation" branded 3D displays for my PC.

yea, I like that desk. old and steady. I also connected LCD tv to my laptop for a bigger picture, but in the end resolution suffers from that, and sometimes there're glitches on the edges. not a big deal of course, when just using it for movies or some distant clicking :) .
edit: also, I read somewhere that 3D displays have 120Hz of refresh rate, which is brilliant for action games, etc. I consider to buy it just for this feature.
