Pleaseletthishappen.

Seriously, this guy was the spiritual successor to Mr.Wizard. One of the best damn shows of the 90's. Bill Nye rocks and I hope he does another show.

The sad thing is I knew him from the Almost Live tv series rather than his own which came later. How old am I again?? :(

I was on the QC team that inspected the master tapes for Bill Nye prior to broadcast, back in the days of analog composite video. (That's how old I am.) If Bill is being bumped up to HD now, maybe I can get some more work out of the series. (Probably not, though.)

Another science program I was introduced to recently is Braniac (Science Abuse). Of course, it should be noted that they tend to take a few liberties from time to time to make their results a bit more spectacular. But the YouTube crowd watches them like hawks, and some of the rebuttals are almost as entertaining as the show itself.
Two hydrogen atoms meet. One says, "I've lost my electron." The other says, "Are you sure?" The first replies "Yes, I'm positive."

Damn, I remember Bill Nye when he used to be on Almost Live (think of it like Saturday Night Live, but as a local Seattle show). =)

(Edit): Wow, didn't notice it, but someone above already mentioned this... DOH!

That's perfectly OK. I'm more than willing to share my coolness with you. 8-)
