[SKIN] Vanquisher Hair color (latest: fiery copper & auburn)

A simple mod to recolor the Vanquisher's hair, including all hair-revealing helmets

Notes:
- Hair color varies a bit depending on the surrounding lighting
- Transparency is messed up a bit while wearing some helmets, apparently this is a mistake from the devs
- *fixed* Some helmets cause the hair to become darker (heavy leather for exemple), this isn't my doing, but can be fixed
- *fixed* The 'inside' part of the hair, which used to be plain black, I also updated the psd master file with new layers for this
- I'm still accepting color requests if you cannot edit psd files, changing colors is a matter of seconds!

I might be able to do this for you, but I can't guarantee it will apply to all helms. Will start with the "starter" stuff and see how it goes.

Edit: Try this out, is it what you wanted? The tips are a bit difficult because the reflection is already white, so the result ends up being too globular. Something like this? Indeed the tips are tricky to get right...Also, anyone know where on the image is the 'inside' part of the hair? I realized i've left it untouched and the brighter the color of the hair, the odder the inside looks (all black!)



Edit: locklere, yours seems nice as well, may i suggest taking a look at the results in-game? Because of the lighting it looks a bit different than on the image...

There, updated the whole thing and added icy blue for IcyBlue. Sorry the tips are not white like you asked, they looked fine with some helmets and bad with others, i did my best, really. The psd is much better and is now a seperate download...anyway check out the first post for links.

Fair enough. I just saw you mention the loading screen look and that's what the other mod was made to replicate.

Also the topless skin is easily removed. Either the startingvest.png can be deleted, or you can even go further and delete the body.png to get rid of the face change/nipples.

Edit: Guess I should mention that I like the hair mods in this thread .

unzip in %appdata%\runic games\torchlight\mod folder.
If you have installed TorchEd then a shortcut to this mod folder should appear in your game folder.

it wont work for me though i can see that i have a blue foot lol i put it in the mods folder am i doing somthing wrong

Blue foot? hmm it happens sometimes that your char's feet are 'inside' the ground, if you have the render behind walls option enabled, then that is why you see a blue foot. For the mod, you may have put it in the wrong folder, or you are not on version 1.12, i remember being unable to use hair mods with the original version of the game...
