Holy cow, looks amazing. Ive been putting off playing Torchlight again to wait for this to release. Though id have to agree, the characters stand out big time against the retextured terrain. Though doing the characters as well as armor and weapons would be a HUGE project, but would be so freakin' awesome

I think a little change to the Lanterns would help make the player stand out a little better.

Hey thanks guys for the kind words. Btw I would love to do the character model textures but that seems like it would take some work to tackle that. I wouldn't really mind taking a look at how much to change but then that runs into the problem of compatibility issues with other character class mods etc. Maybe if I just focused on doing the monsters maybe? I dunno, I'll take a look.

Ah indeed, i never thought of that. Very good point, there may be compatibility issues. Hah, thats fine, some beautiful terrain to look at is good enough for me.

Awesome work. Loving this more every second. How do you add the grit to the textures, that roughness that seems to be in most of your rock textures?

hehe yup! Finished up the fortress tileset for now. I have a feeling that once I release this in a few days that I will want to eventually go back and rework a lot of the prop items in each level, for now they look ok but I want to redo a ton of them but its going to take a lotttttt of time

Anyways, thanks again guys for the good feedback, its keeping me going to the wee hours in the morning to finish this (having a blast as well)

Edit: Forgot to add that right now the mod is sitting at 186Mb, so its not that big.

too kind guys, gunnah make me blush

Well, my eyes are bleeding and I'm zombified... but! the palace is done! Now I just need to go over some last textures I think i missed in town and fix some crap but I'll probably release it this weekend. I think I might try to tackle the monster textures next (I have a deathwish)

But seriously without this forum and community I would have never started this, thanks guys.

Here is some shots of the palace. Zzz then work yay

I'll vote that your textures should be placed for the original client release.

I feel the presence of Ordrak, the textures of the palace/lair really bring out Ordrak's evil.

I agree! It feels dark and gritty and completely satisfying. This mod a lone warrants new char playthrough.

Downloading... Only 100 MB rar'd.

You're nuts for going after monster textures next, but you know we all silently want it!

Edit: Yup, this is the real deal. Mod of the year. :D
