[MERCHANT] Tara General Merchant

Postby Phanjam » Thu Dec 23, 2010 8:08 pm

A simple little mod I made that turns the general merchant from Tarn into...

Tara, the general merchant

Image

No other changes except mesh (gemcutter) and skin (new by me, french maid theme  oo-la-lah!).

I admit the texture isn't the best as you will still see untrimmed edges from certain angles specially if zoomed in. But from the default distance she looks pretty good I think

Should be compatible with the Merchant Pack too - I use that and didn't have any trouble, except it changes her name back to Tarn again (shrug).

Download from RGF

Hope you like it! Merry Christmas everyone!

EDIT - researched the French maid outfit - apron should be white :) will change it after Christmas...

Ooooo, looks nice.

I've not actually downloaded & tried it yet ... but based on the screenshot, I think the apron part is good as-is, not white. It sort of suggests a fetish/goth look rather than a french maid look. :)

I've adjusted the texture: white apron, fixed skirt length at the back (there was an out-of-place long portion) fixed trim details.
If you'd like to try it out, you can DL it from here.

Just plop it into the mod's media/models/npcs/tara folder :)

I downloaded and tried it. Very nice. Clever how the books were removed. :)

Thanks Karl! That's the same method Avenue used to remove the saddlebags from the dog pet :)

Member Biogamer requested the mod use the Breathy voice option instead of the Flirty voice. So I made a patch for it. :D

Well, installed but i cant get it to work, nothing changes. I am using the merchant pack, but i cant see Tara showing up instead of the old merchant. Do i need to start a new game or something (i guess not but..)?

Oh sorry, I forgot to remind you that the Tara mod needs to load BEFORE the Merchant pack mod :P ...
