Does anyone know if the recipe for this item has changed or been removed from the XBLA game. I tried to transmute one but it doesn't work.

Green belt, shield, pistol plus sushi grade fish meat. Then I tried the same thing with light purples. Neither worked.

Do you mean "blue?" They need to be rare(blue.)

I'm considering a sticky for this, as it comes up often. Did you try this exact recipe?

1 rare belt
1 rare pistol

Also, make sure it's THREE sushi, not five.

No as far as I can tell in the XBLA there aren't blues. There are green, gold, dark purple (set items), and light purple. Or I'm color blind or the color is wrong on both my televisions.
In the computer version you could use 5 sushi and it would refund you the 2 it didn't use.

Never mind, got it to work with the light purple items, and it didn't matter that I used 5 sushi grade fish meat, it just gave me back the extra. Thanks for your help.

I did it with a stack of five, though I've seen no noticeable increase in my fishing luck.
