What Will Happen????

I hope someone can answer this question.
I plan on changing my pet to only an Ice Elemental and Mimic.
What would if I give my pet the Frost spell and the Charm spell????
Would it cause any problems????

Do you know if the spells would enhance the monsters abilities????
Frost for Ice Elemental/Charm for Mimic.
Also, I gave my pet the Heal Self spell to try and my pet keeps casting it while I'm
walking around in town. That is really annoying.

The pet uses skills kind of randomly. Giving an ice spell to an ice elemental pet won't really enhance it at all, but you could use stat effects (like silence or charm) on a pet with naturally powerful abilities (like the elementals) to give it some extra strategy.
