I asked Arkham if he wouldn't mind doing to the gunslinger set what he did to the assassin set. We horsed around with the colors a bit, but came up with a satisfactory result, judging by folks' reactions. ;)
To be honest, the only part I truly was happy with from what I made was the chest, and guess what was unchanged.

Wow, fastest response in the west, dude...

It was more of a joke than anything, however it would still be kinda cool for the Vindicator to have a unique pet of some sort, but by no means necessary. Perhaps a pet Dark Disciple she could lead around on a leash?
That'd be rather amusing..and as much as I'd love the leash, that'd probably be much harder to implement than just a simply blood disciple styled pet lol. Just a quick disciple pet file with slight balancing/notes to imitate the normal disciples, the hard part would be balancing it so that it's not running away constantly considering the typically fragile stats of disciples, which would require in-game testing
There are 2 prime methods for dealing with fragile pets, either you make them ranged, so they hang back away from death, or you give them block and health leech so they can tank.

Yes, that is a miniature lightning demon, and yes, it is yellow.

That's one of the places I brought them up, actually. And the reason I added so many polearm ones.

I wish I had enough art skills to make my own. They're actually a recolor of the Master Sword model from The Hero's Legacy. I loved the sword and shield, but didn't care for their built-in projectiles since it messes with frenzy.

I'm currently testing out a bunch of mods to see what kind of items I want to put in game and make Vindicator-specific unique versions.

Ah...hadn't thought of block/leech tbh; though apparently there's also a disciple pet mod already (as Omnicide vaguely mentioned); which I'll probably look at before really thinking about making my own. Don't really need another Hatshetsup type pet where it'll do most the work either though, so I'd probably be careful not to give them too much block or leech, while I'd like their dash/crit to still be present and reasonably good damage still.

Finally replaced the old Zealot/Vindicator animations with the new ones spacepirate provided, and I have to say I kinda miss the Vanquisher fidgeting animations (they are sexy hot :P ).

Is there a way to have all the fidget animations for each of the three main characters? I see the Alchemist and Destroyer ones, but not the Vanquisher. I ended up just replacing all of the old animation files with the new ones, so some of the new ones must have replaced the old Vanquisher fidget animations. This is just minor, though, as I can't wait to start testing out the rest of the melee animations with polearms next... :D

I always keep a copy of the original files before replacing them with the new ones, so I still have all the old Zealot animations saved in another folder, just in case I'm not happy with the new changes and wish to revert back.

When all is said and done I'm tempted to replace every enemy in the game with Zealots. Like, the Dragonkin will be replaced by firebreathing Zealots in the Destroyer's Dragon armour. It will be amazing.

Actually, I included all of them. And none of the existing animations are overwritten, so you don't need to worry about that.
Fidget (the original) is the Vanq one
fidget 0 and 2 are the alchemist
fidget 1, 3, 4 are the devastator

And yeah, I tend to take them out because they have short shins compared to the Vindicator, so she gets extra scrunched up when doing them.

Thanks for clearing that up; I didn't really care for the Alchemist/Destroyer fidget animations (I'm picky about that type of stuff), so I removed 0-4 and just kept the original one. I never did notice the Vanquisher fidget animations being used while in game, so I didn't realize it was still in the file.

Now I've got all the other animations you've added minus the strange looking leg-squat animation...
