Wow! Lots and lots of new screen shots! Magnificent, guys! Outstanding! You've outdone yourselves! And the environments look beautiful! I can't wait to see what the dynamic lighting and effects are like during gameplay!

GRRRRRRAAAAAAWWWWRRR!!!
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

It has been a very, very long time since I had this feeling of shivers down my spine about a video game.

I am left in awe, the new screenshots pumped me up bad (seriously, giant ezrohir steampunk mech? OMG!)

And the Swamp Troll? Me.Need.Pet.

EDIT: Also love the nifty look, and especially the smooth, neat Runic loading animation.

Todays official theme song is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAjR4_CbPpQ&ob=av3n

I have those same chills, Seer. I feel like...ok, back in 2001, when D2 came out, I was just married and living through one of the happiest times of my life. Diablo II was a huge part of that. The look, the feel, the music, the atmosphere, plus all the awesome stuff going on in my life...it was a hell of a year, despite all the other things going on in the world at the time.

All this time later, I'm in a lot happier place, all things considered. I've got some amazing friends, I've come out of a long period of deep depression and have found a reason to live again. My relationship with my mates has never been better....and i'm getting to share an amazing action/rpg with some good friends. I didn't really get to be part of the Diablo community when all that was happening. It's funny how things come full circle sometimes, only this time, I'm able to appreciate it so much more.

Thank you, Runic. And thank you, friends.

Being a web-developer myself I have to say that this a really neat looking site. I love the 2-line screenshot slider on the media page and your character page.

But there is an ugly Scrollbar on the classes detail page on Opera 11.61 build 1250 Win7 x86. You might wanna get rid of that.

edit: .col_970{overflow:hidden;} fixed it for me...

edit 2 +3: Fixed the fix... But display:none made the scrollbar disappear too.

Yeah.. found that one last night... stupid Opera. There is nothing on that element that should make it do that... Want to know the crazy part? Open up Dragonfly, select the .col_970 element and disable overflow, then re-enable it to watch the "magic".

It was great to chat with the devs, and repeatedly going "Is it done yet?" over their shoulders. The website looks great, and the new screenshots are gorgeous!

(stopped lurking because BrianW told me to. don't want to upset the almighty devs, now do we?)
