Kind of reminds me of geckos in fallout...sort of...

I wonder if we can make them breathe fire or spit poison...

Yes it is Acrylik, they wouldn't have put it in the video if it wasn't :P (at least I don't see any other reason to do it...)

Chakawary reminds me a what happens when you let raptors mate with roosters - that thing seriously creeps me out!

It's a regular pet, one of the better ones for me. It really stands up among the stuff we're used to (not that they're bad).

It really reminds me of the Jak 3 Leaper Lizard

Chakawary Herder class!

Or Crazy Cat Lady mod - you can pick only female characters and each lvl one more cat is following you. You do not gain any gold as all of it is used on cat food

Or the Chocowary mod. The Chakawary is made much larger...say the size of a Chocobo, and you can ride it through the levels while fighting. Your pack is doubled in size when you ride the Chocowary.

I knew we'll get to mounts eventually :) I think an earlier post had a similar looking creature with a saddle... Out of all the pets, this one looks like a mount the most.

I think a Chocowary mod would be awesome.

A Chocowary race would be heaps of fun, they look like they can pick up some speed. DarkTails had mentioned an ember cycle on the other thread. I was thinking steam tanks. We almost have a ride for every class...

Zombie mount for Outlanders.

Further emphasis that we should be able to customize pet skins: I'd like a red Chakawary. Some might want their's to be more green than blue, purple-ish blue, black or white. All these would look good.

I had wanted mounts in Torchlight 1. They don't work very well it seems.

+1 right here. I'd like to be able to choose whether Boris, my bulldog, should be completely white, or fawn. Or with brown/red spots. These type of choices are important in modern ARPG games (seeing as the Torchlight franchise is defining that genre at the moment :P), so yeah...would be cool.

Make it happen please :D

Showing my age here, but do you know about the mounts in this old game Golden Axe? You had to knock their riders off, then you got on, one mount would charge and headbutt your enemy, one has a breath attack and one can breathe fireballs. *sigh* good times....

I wonder if we can reboot Golden Axe for the modern gamer.

Well yes, let me just qualify that... I wonder if we can make a good reboot of Golden Axe... Beast Rider was...regrettable to say the least

but the idea of a mount that headbutts enemies in Torchlight still work for me... maybe a little green dinosaur with red sneakers and a sticky tongue that it can use to grab things and eat enemies with would be good too :)
