Newsflash folks, 99% of actual death is either bloodless or blood is released in a slow, steady stream over several minutes. Once the heart stops beating there's nothing to push blood from the body. Living things don't explode like water balloons so please don't accuse US of lacking a sense of realism.
Whew, got that off my chest... Now, the reason I want a gore on/off switch is that my two sons and I have been looking forward to playing this game in local LAN mode ever since we first heard about it. I was saddened to see all the blood spatter because that's going to make it a non-starter for me as a parent. I sincerely hope Runic realizes that the Tarantino fans are only a part of their audience for this game and the rest of us would like to be heard as well.
Dont worry Worm.. that sounds more offensive than I want lol... so yes.. ahem Mr. Worm, we do have a no blood check box that removes the gibs and blood.. I cant fathom why we would remove it before release so Im pretty positive it will remain in the game. We like the splatters but we understand the desire not to have them in there as well. Like oh so many things we try to accommodate players choice.. so its up to you whether you desire to wade through the blood of your enemies or to bonk things on the head and put them to sleep until they wake up and recover from their toothaches that make them so angry
