Language issue

I was recently gifted Torchlight and installed via Steam. However, once I load up the game the language displayed is in Russian. Is there a menu/options setting to change to what should have been English to start with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there. I'd recommend that you try checking to see if you have a mods folder and remove it. It would be located in %appdata%\runicgames\torchlight\mods under Windows. There was actually no official Russian-language version of Torchlight released via Steam, so the fact that you're seeing a translation is probably being caused by a mod of some kind. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the game and/or Steam. Let me know how it turns out!
