Quest reward dropped *under* Gar?

Hey all. I'm having some fun in the Shadow Vault, just picking up my 3 quests and hacking and slashing (well, blasting really) my way down, level by level.

I mostly take the quest from Gar as a way to get more XP and Fame, but every once in a while his quest reward is something I might want. This was the case this time - for my Vanquisher, I wanted a promised Epic Stab Gun. Unfortunately, when I returned to Gar with the quest item, the reward dropped underneath him - I can't hover on it to select it, and any attempt to click just brings up Gar's dialog.

I've tried exiting and re-entering the game, but the item is always right where it was before, underneath him. Same is true when I change to different zoom levels. I haven't tried targeting it with my pet yet, but since I can't ever get it to highlight I suspect that won't work either.

is there anything I can do about this? That blue-enchanted Epic Stab Gun is taunting me!

You might try downloading TorchlightCam, and see if you can rotate the camera around Gar to an angle where the gun can be picked up.

Of course, the very next game-load I tried, I managed to find a one-pixel (or so) line that did cause the Epic Stab Cannon to light up as selected. So if anyone else runs into this problem, just keep trying from different angles - you may well find something!
