what i need to get in to lvl 8

i cant get into the floor after the overseer. can anyone tell me why

You are in a level called "The Overseer's Chamber?" If so, the last part has a long, straight path to a building top. It looks like there is no way to continue, but if you walk to the edge on the right, the walkway extends. You go across to the waygate to town and the stairs down to the next level.

If you are on level 7, there is a point you have to go back a pull a lever to get across. Or at least that's the way it was in my game.Did you pull all the levers?

What does the level say in the screen? Does it have a name or a level number or both?

Try taking the waypoint gate to town. Exit the game. Restart the game. Return to the Overseer's Chamber via the WayGate. Now try the stairs.

assuming those faces of being mad means you still aren't able to continue, the only thing I can suggest is to restart a new toon. Seeing as you aren't very deep in the mines yet, it shouldn't be too much of a hastle. Just make sure to put anything you wanna use in your shared stash.

If restarting isn't an option, then using the console can help, but it will mark you as a "Cheater"

If you have any mods installed, remove them all. Then start a completely vanilla caharacter and try it.

If that works, you can try re-installing your mods of choice, one at a time.

If that does NOT work, uninstall the game, make sure it is totally gone including any remnants in the Steam cloud if applicable, and reinstall, preferably with nothing else running.

The exit is sometimes hard to spot for sure, and while this has been an issue with many people, their issue is with the game crashing when they try to descend into the next level.

My advice is the same as what dreamrider has already suggested. If this does not work, then I would have no clue as to what the issue is.
