Zombie Playground

Looks interesting... was just browsing kickstarter just for kicks. (*pun intended*)

I also found this interesting:

This looks really cool.

After seeing that, I'm sold. Can I help fund this project? Don't know too much about kickstarters.

Every Kickstarter project must be fully funded before its time expires or no money changes hands.

If the project you’re backing is successfully funded, your card will be charged when the project reaches its funding deadline. If the project does not reach its funding goal, your card is never charged. That's why we call them pledges.

By pledging, you are committing to supporting that person’s project; canceling that commitment is discouraged. If you must cancel, visit the project page and click “Manage Your Pledge.” At the bottom of the next page you’ll see the “Cancel Pledge” button.

Kickstarter uses Amazon's Flexible Payments Service

Project creators are solely responsible for fulfilling the promises of their projects.

Also realize that the Zombie Playground Kickstarter says
Estimated Delivery: Mar 2013

That's my guess as to when this game will ACTUALLY be coming out. So keep that in mind. It appears this game only asks to "PLEDGE $15 OR MORE" for "STANDARD EDITION gets you a digital copy of the game along with an in-game care package to help kickstart your Zombie Playground adventure!"

Oh cool thanks for that info. Yeah, I gave Project Zomboid some money too. I haven't been on their site in a while, but it was a pretty fun game when I played the demo. I'll probably wait for an alpha demo or something if they release one for donations. Going to keep my eye on this though, cool find.

Shameless b-b-bump. They just posted some pre-alpha proof-of-concept footage. Looks pretty promising to me. :)

Yes, I'm bumping it again. I realize the market is currently a bit overloaded with zombie games, but this one looks like it has the potential to be a lot of fun. Worth checking out if haven't already!
