Well, I kind of figured it out. At least from some source.

Your arcana is your birth month+birthday+first two digits of the year you're born in+last two digits of that same year.

So I got Devil and Lovers.

Or it's just a bunch of BS, who knows. I do like personality quizzes though. They're like slot machines you know how to influence.

You know, the arcana are actually very broadly defined. As in, one size fits all. Probably the same with zodiac signs. This means that people who read it will bind their own experience to it. Even the wikipedia articale suggests that diviners tend to use their own experience when divining your future. Makes people feel comfy.

Maybe I just like the psychological effect it has though.

Do you do the same thing with your forum posts? Just wondering. I proofread a lot of the stuff I write too. Most of the time it's just verbal diarrhea though. :/

Yeah, I read them a dozen times before posting them, and even after that I keep editing them because I find things that don't sound right to me. (Please note that English is not my native language, so anything awkward left in my posts after editing and re-editing them is due to that.)

That sentence about my English was just an addition to my main point and has nothing to do with the actual issue I was talking about. I do the same with my German posts and German mails, rereading them and editing them a dozen times. Just ignore the sentence in brackets and concentrate on the words before that.

Because of cultural difference. Not only is there going to be a language barrier (albeit a seemingly minor one in their case;once they're done editing, their english is a lot better than that of many of the native english speakers I see here and there on the forum), there's going to be a cultural one, as well. Sometimes things they say are going to come out sounding odd or off because a turn of phrase they would normally use to describe something either means something different in english or has no immediate corollary in english.
