Rim Lighting in the game.

So does it seem to anyone else that Rim Lighting 'on' actually makes enemies/npcs blend into the environment more than having the feature turned off. I personally have to turn it off just to be able to keep focused on the enemies around me. Maybe add and option to darken/increase the contrast of characters/enemies against the background environment without giving a sheen/glowing effect on the model itself. Please bump so Runic can see this if you agree.

I really, really wish there was some sort of contrast setting.

IMO having rimlighting on in TL1 makes it clearer (and better) looking.

I don't know. I've tried having it both on and off and it seems to look a lot better when it's off. Unfortunately it just makes it so shiny I can't really see the detail on things.

Does anyone know if it makes performance better or worse to have it enabled? I have a top of the line rig so I can't tell the difference.

I'm pretty sure performance takes a hit to have them on. My laptop isn't the greatest, and there is definitely a performance difference between having rimlights on and having them off. The difference isn't enough to make a significant framerate leap, but having it off does make things run a little smoother.
