A necessary sacrifice, brother, a necessary sacrifice ...
Besides - where do you think I dragged my ass from?

Mmmyeah, you kinda misunderstood me ...
I DID come here thanks to the first not-a-blog posts on FB. And you should be glad that I am now here to bring light into your dark world![]()

Just curious why there is a need to save after trading?
I hope this wasn't to combat vanilla cheating since you can still sidestep the save...unless you have worked in some sort of save encryption or something, which I would prefer so we couldn't sidestep hardcore mode deaths.
Getting excited for release.

kredbu wrote:say you have a 'Sword of GoodforSomeoneElse', that you want to give to your buddy. So you trade it, the trade works, but he loses power to his desktop right after the trade. If the game didn't immediately save after the trade, he would come back into the game in his previous state without the item, but you would no longer have the item to give to him, since the trade worked fine on your end. So you'd have to either crash your own client to get back to the state with the item (not a particularly elegant solution for you), or you could not think of that, rage logout, and spew venom upon the the denizens of the runic forums (no good for anyone, really)
A good thing this save is.
