What spells do you like?

Which do you use for your vanq and tank?

Right now I have Heal Self, Haste, and two others I never use. I'm planning on going for 4 buff/heals and maxing Defensive Spellcasting

My pet does great with Fireball, and I gave him Heal All too but I dont really notice it

I like Heal All, Dervish, and Identify on myself, and Summon Skeleton and Summon Flaming Sword on my cat. I haven't found a fourth spell for myself that I'm really keen on yet.

I find "Summon Zombies" make reasonably nice tanks, even on Very Hard. So that might definitely be one of my favorites.

The zombies are pretty cool. I just can't get over how awesome Summon Flaming Sword is. ;-)

I use haste, heal self, elemental protection, and draining touch on my vanq, which are all defensive. I found poison cloud was nice on my pet. I found the pet would spam heal all whenever it could, not when I needed healing, so the timing was usually wrong. I'm going to try something else instead of heal all for the pet with my next char.

currently got (very hard difficulty):

heal all
summon skeleton
townportal
indentify

and some frost aoe slow on my pet

pet+skeletons+heal all = nice meatshield
this+explosive shot <- nothing more to say

Identify, Heal Self, Elemental Damange spell (Can't remenber name) and Haste.

My Dog is a Frost/Heal All adept, hes a good boy... when hes not fleeing or just annoying the hell out of me.

On my ranged Vanq, in Hard:

Identify
Haste VI
Dervish VI
Elemental Protection VI

On Fluffy:
Summon Skeleton VI
Heal All VI

hi there - i am only lvl 19 on normal (just to get familiar with the game) - will soon start serious business on hard or even very hard with a little help of the items found on the lower diff levels...a little help is always welcome, right?

i love summon skeletons and summon zombies both for me and the pet, so there i a permanent little army wreaking havoc - me just running on the outskirts of the battlefield throwing lighting bombs inside and richochets

charm spell mastery and pet mastery is of course a must!

i know, not very heroic, but effective!

22 VH pistol/pistol marksman, currently running Heal All, Haste, Dervish and a Summon Skeleton that I never use. Pet has Web and Silence.

Web on the pet can be really powerful when it's cooperating. It helps bunch up enemies for more efficient exploding and keeps them further away from you.

If by "lightning bombs" you mean the first skill in the arbiter tree I wouldn't rely on it too much as it has poor scaling when say compared to flechette trap.

On self

Identify
Town Portal
Heal Self

On pet:

Heal All
Summon Skeleton/Archers/Flaming Sword

I dislike the zombies on the pet, it simply doesn't know when to summon them and they move too slow for my gameplay style. I always forget to use spells (other than the mentioned) since my skills/weapon take care of damage so well, so I can't be bothered to use the rest.

Honestly a lot of skills suffer from the problem, to put it in perspective i'm level 50 and my auto attack hits monsters for 700 and it doesn't even dent them.
