I'm loving playing my vanq. I'm currently playing a few of them; 1 vhhc (lv 15ish) and one VH norm (lv 32 I think). On my non-hardcore character I'm going heavy marksmanship, but I'm also tossing in 1 pt to as many abilites as I can without gimping myself too much just to see how they play out and how they function.
My build currently is as follows: Marks -10 ranged mastery, 10 crits, 4 frost pilum (i use this instead of ricochet for straight line dps and slowing - and yes I know ricochet is better cuz I use it on my other vanqs), 5 explosive shot, 1 block n parry, 1 arrow hail, 2 adventurer. Rogue - 1 Stab, 2 Armor expertise, 4 winds of justice, 1 venomous dirks, 1 hamstring, 1 barter, 1 treasuer hunter. Arbiter: 1 DW (cuz shield + pistol used to get the bonus), 1 charm spell mastery (cuz I use skeles for meat targets tho the pt is prolly unneccessary), 3 flechette trap, 1 devouring trap, 1 adv spell casting. I think that's about it.
Anyway, the point is that I've been messing around with the class and getting my feet wet with as much of it as I can. I'm lv32 now and most of my skills are bent towards ranged capabilites, but I find myself using the rogue tree a whole hell of a lot. I think I'm going to make a Vanq centered around the rogue tree next. Any tips or tricks? It sorta seems that my stats should be balanced out amongst the lot if I intend to use most of the rogue tree abilites cuz stats which abilites gain their power from seem to be really hodge-podgedly allocated. Thoughts?
