Hmm, possibly.

The logic editor seems to be quite powerful. The lack of scripting has me concerned as well, but we haven't actually seen what the provided tools can do yet. Don't prejudge a product before you've had a chance to look at what it does allow.

From watching the Preditor TorchED videos on youtube I'm willing to give it a chance. What sort of mods where you planning on?

I wanted to add roguelike stuff i.e. cursed items, spawn ghosts of your dead hardcore characters, and so on

Score I'll be getting the thing I paid for soon. If I didn't care about the dev tools I would have just torrented the game, so I consider this the real product. I'm more than a little bummed that it didn't ship with the game...but that's being fixed shortly.

I don't remember that Runic Staff said anything about the editor coming WITH the game. Wasn't that Steam's mistake?

I still can't find where the editor will be located. Where are we going to be able to download it from?

Don't worry about it. TorchED also comes with a jump-to-conclusions editor.

Some people will be disappointed that TorchED isn't the Unreal editor. Others will be sad that it isn't the little big planet level editor. I think it's capable of or more than you're implying though. Give it a chance. Sorry if my response was a bit snarky. No harm meant - just a little light ribbing.

No need to apologize, your reply made me smile!

I do some programming so I was hoping that it exposed deep stuff but that would probably make it very unaccessible to others. I think the visual logic linking stuff is quite sexy though

When they knock you down
Don't break character
You've got so much heart
Is this real or just a dream?
