With that said, I haven't seen one editor that was suppose to ship with a game, actually ship!

What I and quite a few others are saying is that complaining every few seconds about what is obviously a problem isn't very constructive.
And hearing people rant on and on about the same thing is ridiculous. If they were to just post and say Im angry (for instance) and leave it at that then ok, but people just keep going and going like that freakin energizer bunny. It starts to sound like that brat from the new Willie Wanka movie, "Daddy I WANT IT NOW!"
It just gets old and the fact that Im responding probably is a waist of time because you guys cant let go and will have to post again just to point out that im wrong so Im not replying again and perpetuate the "I want, I want, I want" anymore.
Sorry if anyone is offended by what I've said but on the other hand maybe I'm right. Think about it.

Yes, you paid for it.
Yes, you are right when it comes to the details.
Yes, you anticipated it very much, maybe even more than the game itself.
Yes, Runic made it look like Monday would be the big day.
No, you won't be any happier if you get a buggy editor.

They try to be up front with us, share information and details, and they get nailed to the wall when they hit a bug. Just so we're clear, that means some important feature of the editor didn't work right. And needs to be fixed. There isn't a released editor out yet because they're STILL WORKING ON IT!!! Frankly, it would have been nice to continue getting updates to their progress, but frankly I wouldn't blame them at all to just deliver the editor and continue cutting off communications (like blizzard?). Good job all. Now we have NO idea whats going.
*EDIT* my terrible spleling.
dante2010 wrote:You people that say they should "take their time" and whatever, whatever... seem to forget that we all paid good money for the game as well as the editor AS PROMISED. It's now 2 weeks since release and still no editor. If this whole thing was free, then ya I'd agree with you that people shouldn't bitch and complain. But since everyone paid $20 for it, then they have every right to be upset.

... we've had little update since because it was night time in PST. It just turned 9 AM and they've started posting again. These are grown adults, not fragile children that need to be sheltered- I think they can handle the almost entirely non-existent criticism in this thread.

You do know most of your "yes" are wrong, right?

To all who wrote the same kind of "payed $20", "all paid good money" etc syndromes (all childrens I'm sure)
Sorry to say but $20... your launch money, or a few cigarettes packs, or whatever you spent on in that rage? That it's a tragedy? Your life ruined after spending $20 on a great game? A lot of games cost double and are junk and the support for them the same.
kisuke wrote:Don't complain about spending $20 on a really great, fun game. It was your option to buy anyway. The editor will we out when it will be ready and that's it.
People who are complaining about the editor's delay it seems they don't have a clue about developing.
kisuke wrote:So, NO more complaining about spending $20 (the game only worth that money, maybe more) or put pressure on the developing team, it's pathetic and stupid.
kisuke wrote:PS: sorry for being rude(everyone decide that), but enough it's enough - the stupid wining, "it's somebody's fault for our unhappy life", human nature.

bulletbutter wrote:I can't speak for everyone else but for me, the game was really fun for about 1-2hours. Now, it's just repetitive and boring. Also, as a customer, I could care less about development. It is the companies responsibility to ship a fully working title. It isn't my responsibility to research the development process..

Citizen86 wrote:So why do you want to edit a game that you find boring and repetitive? You aren't going to be able to change the key aspects of what the game is... if you want a different game, you can always try the Unreal Development Kit that was just released. You might have more fun there.
