Also is there any intention to do the same thing for this but for certain Spell buffs? Thinks like Elemental Protection/Overload, maybe haste/Dervish, etc. I guess that would be the big four right there.

I think this is where things get a bit a too OP. Maybe Elemental Protection as in many games a defense buff which is so minimal like this has a long duration. (Which also makes me think, why isn't there a psyhical defense buff?) But spells like Haste and Dervish are really ment to serve for a short-time buff to get out of hairy situations. Me personally I would reduce their time active to 30 seconds (At max rank) and give them a rather lengthy cool-down. Like 2-5 minutes. At the moment, especially haste seems too spammable and the usefullness of the spells have been reduced.

I don't want to sound like one of those haters though, I'm to be quite honest all for this mod at the moment. Whatever the modder decides to do with it is totally up to him. Just food for thought. :)

Too bad you couldn't do something like...

1 active spell - 1 MPS
2 = 3 MPS (1+2)
3 = 6 MPS (1+2+3)

etc...

Anyways, yeah, I concede that especially dervish and haste being super long would be... problematic .

This mod is totally awesome. I hate having to refresh short-duration buffs over and over again, especially when they're important things like the Destroyer's defense skills and shields...

Final Edit: I noticed a bug in with Shadow Armor that I originally thought was linked to this mod, then realized was not. Then I suspected my other mods, but the base game still seemed to have it. So if anyone has actually noticed the previous versions of this post, ignore them. ;p

The bug is that Shadow Armor appears to stack with itself: the block bonus it gives can quickly get all the way up to the 50% block cap. Whether or not it is actually giving you that much block (as opposed to just displaying it) is unknown, but my char does block quite often if I use it a lot. This mod makes it a little easier for that effect to stack. It's one thing with the usual 60-second (I think) duration, but when each cast lasts an hour, the extra block sticks around for quite awhile.

when i use Shadow Armor, my blockrate is increased for like 3s and then it drops back to normal :(

anyone know how to fix this?

I'm getting the same thing Hellfrog.. could it be because he has 3600 listed under duration? (ie: rounded up to 4 seconds)

but ill test that other duration mod for Destroyer later and then im gonna compare those in TorchED

ok with the other mod i have the additional black chance for the duration of 5min... now to find the error ^^

is the OP still active or did he quit TL already and moved on?

Since the OP seems to have disappeared, I fiddled with this mod a bit. I fixed the problem with Infuse (he'd not prperly assigne dduration: the global was set to 3600 but the individuals, which override, still had default duration) and I think i corrected the problem with Shadow Armor, too.

Also noticed Shadow Armor's damage doesnt scale with Magic, but Shadow Bowamn's does. Whatever. Left it for now.

Thanks for the update TormakSaber, I found that with your update, FrostShield only lasts for 20 seconds. I looked at the code and couldn't see what was wrong so I have no clue. Maybe you can update it?

I can only find the original download, and i can't unzip the other guys .rar file, but anyway

theirs a seriously problem, the download is broken in the mana per second part. if you experiemntally make it cost something high like 30 mana a second for any of the skills, you quiickly realize after th first second it stops draining per second and just doesn't charge mana anymore. that being said i've tried to keep it balanced by trying to fix it on my own (very green to torchED) and have the same problem. so fuck i just give up, i'll do the 5 minute mod. i really preffered the more balanced continious cost.

Never noticed that. My mana always kept ratcheting down in my version... or rather, 'not going up as fast'.
